Ever since I was a little girl I have always wanted to see the Aurora Borealis. I've always been a fan of art and getting the opportunity to see the sky paint such a pretty picture in person was definitely on my bucket list!
Unfortunately I just never had the opportunity to head far enough north to experience one of the wonders of the world.
But as luck would have it, the Northern Lights, came to me! Now, if you know anything about this wondrous event, you know it must be night time, it must have little to no moonlight or manmade lights of any kind, and more often than not, it happens at an ungodly hour.
If you have to work early the next day and head to a job where you are simply an employee, helping someone else live their dream and not living your own, then you probably needed some espresso this morning!
I am beyond thrilled that I got to experience this unforgettable event. It was simply breathtaking.
Northern Lights
Witnessing the Northern Lights was one of those once-in-a-lifetime experiences I had dreamed of for years but never thought I'd actually get to see.
What made this experience even more special was that I didn’t have to worry about staying up late or rearranging my schedule to witness the MAGIC.

As a small business owner and entrepreneur, I’ve worked hard to create a life where I can enjoy such moments on my own terms. No calling in to a boss, no worrying about the next morning’s early meeting—just pure FREEDOM to live fully in the moment.
And on this incredible night, I got to do exactly that with my daughter and future son-in-law by my side.
I've seen the lights in the movies and in photographs but nothing could have prepared me for the awe I felt. As cliche as it may sound, it was as if the lights danced across the sky putting on a private show just for us.
I couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed by how fortunate I was to be there—free to soak in every moment. Watching my daughter's amazement and excitement made the moment all the sweeter and I thanked my lucky stars I was able to capture this moment.
This picture above honestly can NOT do this justice and if I only had a 9-to-5 job, I would’ve missed this incredible opportunity. But as an entrepreneur and certified business coach, I’ve worked hard to build my business and life around moments like these.
I didn’t have to rush home or be concerned about waking up to an alarm the next day. Instead, I stayed up late, camera in hand, capturing jaw-dropping photos that will forever remind me of this magical experience.
The Northern Lights were more than just a random bucket list item I got to check off. They were a reminder of WHY I chose the entrepreneurial path in the first place. To have the FLEXIBILITY to prioritize life’s beautiful moments, to spend time with family, and to create unforgettable memories.
For those of you building your own business, whether you’re just starting out or scaling to new heights, remember that this is what it's all about. We’re not just working for a paycheck—we’re creating a life we love, one where bucket list moments don’t have to wait until retirement.

I’m excited to share a few of the photos I captured last night, so you can get a glimpse of the magic I experienced.
And I hope that this inspires you to keep working toward the life you want—one with the freedom to witness the beauty of the world, however and whenever it calls to you.
Here’s to building a business that lets you live your dreams, one breathtaking moment at a time. ✨
